Abstract

ABSTRACT Karanganyar is an area that has a lot of potential and natural resources that can be developed into a tourist destination one of which has a great potential of natural resources to develop the cultivation and production of medicinal plants. The tendency of people now to get back to nature. The return to nature arising from the impact of the rise of environmental issues as a reaction to the growing negative impact of chemical products. Movement back to nature has a positive side by the desire to use and consume natural products in terms of biological resources traditional medicinal plants that are believed to have no side effects. Tawangmangu B2P2TOOT This is one place that has a land development potential of natural resources of traditional medicinal plants one in the subtropical gardens with an area Tlogodlingo Tawangmangu ± ± 12 hectares at an altitude of 1800 m above sea level. Since it was their master plan for scientific tourism in Tlogodlingo it is necessary to design alternatives regarding the development of nature tourism and agro but that will be developed into agro-tourism with an area of ± 9 ha by developing the potential of medicinal plants and maximize land arrangement without the exploitation of land and new problems to become tourist recreational, educational, and productive which can later be featured in Karanganyar District travel. Agrowisata Traditional Medicinal Plants (TOT) is later built one with nature with the order of the landscape garden of medicinal plants contained some supporting facilities and tourist attractions such as the manager's office, a multipurpose building, plantation of medicinal plants, cultivation of medicinal plants, lodging, restaurant by providing menu- menu of medicinal plants, the spa using a concoction of herbs, as well as recreational areas with a variety of exciting rides such as the flying fox, outbound, ATVs, camping ground, and a waterpark.
