Abstract
The purpose of this studi is to describe and analyze the effect of parent’s attention and study fasillity on student achievement in mathematics subject in class VIII semester II of SMP Negeri 2 Colomadu academic year 2015/2016. The type of the studi is experiment with description experimental design. The population of the studi was partially students in class VIII amount student is 100. The sampling technique use technique census. Methods of data collection use questionnaires and documentation. Data analyzed by analysis of multiregression analysis. According to the data analysed, the result show that the attentios of parent’s and study fasillity influence the student’s achievement until 35,87%. The effectiveness level of influence occurs can be shown by folded regression equation as Y = 1,6521 + 0,537X1 + 0,503X2. It means that the equations is able to predict the real condition of population. This fact shown by the value of Fhitung = 27,12691. In addition, Fhitung is consulted with Ftabel with 5% of significance phase, so that it is resulted Ftabel = 3,09. Because Fhitung is higher than Ftabel, it 27,12691 > 3,09, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It means that there is significance influence of parent’s attention and study fasillity on student’s achievement in mathematics subject student in semester II at class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Colomadu academic year 2015/2016.
