Abstract

Gastritis is an inflammation of the gastric mucosa. This inflammation can lead to release swelling of the gastric mucosa of the epital superficial mucosa which is becoming the most important cause in disorders of the digestive tract. Releasing epital will induce an inflammatory process in the stomach. There are many factors that may influence the occurrence of gastritis such as knowledge and behavior to prevent gastritis. The incidence of gastritis in several regions in Indonesia is quite high by prevalence of 274.396 cases of 238,452,952 inhabitants. The data obtained in the Surabaya city that the incidence rate of 31.2% Gastritis, Denpasar 46%, while in Central Java, the incidence of infection is quite high at 79.6%. From the results of the assessment in February showed there were 40 patients with gastritis in Puskesmas Polokarto. The purpose of this researched to improve the knowledge and prevention of relapse in patients with gastritis. The author, using the case study method that illustrates the certain circumstances existing at this time based on the problems that exist with the family sample Mr. J A particularly on Mr. J. As the ways to collect data that is used among other observations, lectures and ask questions or interview with the patient or the patient's family and then study to obtain patient data thoroughly. Further analyze data, formulate a diagnosis, intervention, implementation and evaluation. The results of this research are after three times visits to their house health education so it can reduced pain from 4 scale to 3 scale and the specific goal after 3 times visits expected family house is able to recognize the health problems of gastritis.
