Abstract
Latar belakang: Stroke is a syndrome characterized by symptoms or clinical signs are growing quickly in the form of functional disorder of the brain and global focal lasting more than 24 hours (except now surgical intervention or bring death) caused by reasons other than vascular causes. This definition includes a stroke due to cerebral infarction (ischemic stroke), intra-cerebral bleeding (PIS) non-traumatic, intraventricular hemorrhage and some cases of subarachnoid hemorrhage. Tujuan: To determine the effect of physiotherapy treatment in increasing muscle strength and functional activities with modalities IR (infrared) ang exercise therapy in patients with non-hemorrhagic stroke hemiparese dextra. Hasil: After therapy 6 times the result improvement in muscle strength T1: 0 become T6: 2, and the increased ability of functional activity T1: 45 into T2: 50. Kesimpulan: granting IR (infrared) and exercise therapy in the case of non-hemorrhagic stroke hemiparese dextra can increase muscle strength ang the ability of functional activity.
