Abstract
The object of the research is the novel entittled A Tale of Two Cities. The study gives focus on the social injustice. The major problem of this study is how the social injustice is reflected in Charles Dickens’s A Tale of Two Cities based on Sociological Approach. This research is aimed at analyzing the structural elements of A Tale of Two Cites and describing how the social injustice in the story based on Sociological approach. This research paper is qualitative research. The object of the study is A Tale of Two Cities novel written by Charles Dickens. The primary data source is A Tale of Two Cities itself and the secondary data sources are several references, literary criticism, and articles from internet. The method of collecting data is library research. The technique of data analysis is descriptive analysis. The result of of the study reveals the way of life experienced and cruelty by upper class is that they always spent their life in materialism ways such as party, having tea each other, woman and watching opera or theatre. This life style had changed the moral of the people on that era, especially the upper class themselves.
