Abstract
The need for rapid information system makes humans want to increase the effectiveness and efficiency in a variety of ways. The development of technology, of course, raises new problems of an increasingly complex and demanding adjustments in order to minimize errors in a resolution. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a wireless identification technology rather than the technology that has the advantage of previous identifiers, such as barcodes. Facilities at the Laboratory of Industrial Engineering UMS is equipped with RFID technology. The purpose of this research is to maximize the use of existing resources in the laboratory as well as provide examples of RFID technology applications in the manufacturing industry so that UMS Industrial Engineering students have an idea of it and make the system modeling warehouse system of the real system into modeling in scale laboratory. Results of research in the form accompanied by a simulation modeling of warehousing system in the manufacturing industry that disimplifikasi in laboratory scale.Obtained three models: the simulation process incoming goods warehouse, stock taking process simulation and process simulation goods leave the warehouse.
