Abstract
Competitions that should be owned by a teachers are: pedagogical competition, behavioural competition, social competition, and professional competition (Sagala, 2009). One of pedagogical competition component is result evaluation. Teachers should be able to arrange the instrument of studying evaluation properly in order to evaluate the students output can be achieved. The aim of this research is to know the ability of the science teachers in making HOT in SMP N 1 Kragan Rembang. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive research with documentation and interview methods. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. Based on this researched science teachers ability making HOT question is low (1,1 %) where as the ability of teachers in making LOT question based on Bloom’s Taxonomy in SMP N 1 Kragan Rembang is high (98,9%). Teachers-made question sheet percentage based on the proper sheet based on grammatical writing in SMP N 1 Kragan Rembang for the multiple choice is (31,7%) and essay is (62,2%).
