Abstract
Children with intellectual disabilities require engaging and interactive learning media due to their limitations in understanding learning materials. Conventional teaching methods often make students bored and hinder their understanding of animal classification based on diet. This study aims to develop an Android-based educational game as a learning medium for students with intellectual disabilities. The application was developed using the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method with Construct 2 software. Functional testing was conducted using black-box testing, and the results showed that all application features operated as expected. Usability was further evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS), which produced an average score of 78.7, indicating an acceptable level of usability with a high acceptance rate. Therefore, the developed educational game can serve as an interactive learning medium to help students understand animal classification based on their diets.
