Abstract

Depot Air Bening Pak Hadi still implements the process of ordering and monitoring drinking water deliveries manually through WhatsApp and verbal communication. This condition causes order records to be less organized, increases the risk of data processing errors, and makes it difficult for customers to monitor delivery status. This research aims to design and implement a web-based drinking water ordering management and delivery monitoring application to support improvements in operational effectiveness and service quality. The Waterfall method is applied in system development through several stages, namely requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is evaluated using the Black Box Testing method to verify functional suitability and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure the usability level or ease of application use. Based on the research results, it was found that the application successfully integrates the ordering process, customer data management, order validation by administrators, and real-time delivery monitoring by couriers and customers. Based on Black Box Testing, the results show that all main system features function properly and meet the designed functional requirements. SUS testing involving 21 respondents obtained an average score of 77.98, which is categorized as Good, indicating that the application has a good level of usability and is well accepted by users. Based on these results, the developed application is able to improve order management efficiency, reduce the potential for recording errors, enhance delivery process transparency, and support the improvement of service quality at Depot Air Bening Pak Hadi.
