Abstract

Batoro Katong Stadium in Ponorogo Regency has experienced significant functional degradation and physical deterioration, while cultural infrastructure to support the Reog Ponorogo performing arts remains severely limited. The gap between sports facilities and local cultural preservation necessitates the development of an integrated area. This design aims to develop the Batoro Katong Stadium area as a sports and cultural center that mutually supports one another through a Regionalism Architecture approach. Methods employed include post-occupancy evaluation, site analysis, and mixed-use building theory. The design produces a concept of an integrated area combining a multifunctional stadium with a cultural performance hall, exhibition spaces, and community areas. The application of regionalist architectural elements, such as Reog ornaments and local materials, establishes the area's visual identity. This design is expected to improve sports facility quality, strengthen Ponorogo cultural preservation, and stimulate regional economic and tourism growth.
