Abstract

The Design of a Creative Space for Youth in Boyolali Regency is an effort to provide an integrated venue that accommodates various creative, artistic, literacy, sports, and social interaction activities for youth aged 10–19 in Mojosongo Subdistrict. This design aims to create an environment that is not only functional as a place for activities but also capable of fostering positive behavior, nurturing creativity, and serving as a vehicle for social intervention for Boyolali youth who face issues of juvenile delinquency and a lack of structured, positive activity spaces. A behavioral architecture approach was chosen because it addresses these needs through spatial design that consciously influences users’ behavioral patterns— from the arrangement of building masses based on territorial parameters and environmental perception, to the design of spatial quality per zone based on personal space and behavioral settings—ensuring that every design element directly contributes to shaping productive and responsible behavior among adolescents.
