Abstract

The development of information technology encourages companies to utilize website-based information systems to support sales processes and deliver product information digitally. CV HN Putra is a metal casting company that still applies manual sales processes, resulting in limitations in product information access, ordering efficiency, and service quality. The main objective of this research is to develop and implement a web-based sales information system that facilitates product access, simplifies the ordering process, and increases company credibility. The Waterfall methodology was used for system development, while system testing was conducted using Black Box Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results indicate that the developed system is capable of managing product data, orders, and sales transactions effectively. Based on the Black Box Testing results, all system functions operate as expected. Meanwhile, usability testing using the SUS method obtained an average score of 82.5, which falls into the acceptable category. Therefore, the developed website-based sales information system is capable of improving the efficiency of the sales process and supporting the enhancement of service quality at CV HN Putra.
