Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the legal status of cough medicine abuse and to review cough medicine abuse behavior from the perspective of Islamic law. This study uses a normative juridical research method, which is a process of determining legal rules, principles, and doctrines in order to answer legal issues that will be encountered. This study uses legal types and materials in the form of primary, secondary, and tertiary data sources. The data was collected from written sources such as literature, articles, journals, previous studies, and information from reports related to the study. Through this study, adolescents who abuse drugs can be charged with abuse.
