Abstract
The development of social media, particularly TikTok, has created new economic opportunities through affiliate programs but has also led to legal issues such as digital content plagiarism. This study aims to analyze legal regulations related to copyright protection of digital content and the responsibility of TikTok as an application provider in handling cybercrime committed by affiliate actors. This research uses a normative legal method with statutory and conceptual approaches. The results indicate that digital content created by creators is protected under Law Number 28 of 2014 on Copyright, which provides declarative protection. Furthermore, application providers as electronic system organizers have responsibilities to supervise content in accordance with the Electronic Information and Transactions Law. However, in practice, there are still weaknesses in supervision mechanisms that allow plagiarism to occur. Therefore, strengthening regulations and improving supervision by application providers are necessary to ensure optimal legal protection for victims.
