Abstract
The Sumber Barokah Hj. Siti Romlah Skin Rash MSME still uses a manual skin rash cutting process with simple tools such as knives and bamboo mats. The non-ergonomic workstation conditions cause workers to work bent over for long periods of time, potentially causing fatigue and musculoskeletal disorders. This study aims to design ergonomic work aids at the skin rash cutting station to improve work comfort and productivity. The method used is an ergonomic approach with Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) analysis and the use of worker anthropometric data as the basis for tool design. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and anthropometric measurements of 10 workers. The analysis results showed that the REBA score in the initial condition was 10, which is included in the high risk category and requires immediate improvement. After designing and implementing ergonomic work aids based on anthropometric data, the REBA score decreased to 5, which is included in the medium risk category. This indicates that the design of the new workstation is able to improve work posture, reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders, and increase the efficiency and productivity of the skin rash cutting process.
