Abstract

The sports facility rental business, particularly the basketball courts at Hatta Sport Center, hampers operational efficiency due to the use of a manual schedule recording system. This situation triggers operational problems, such as overlapping schedules (double bookings), difficulties verifying field availability, and delays in payment management status. This research aims to design and build a basketball court rental website called MainDiHatta. The system development applies the Waterfall methodology, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Architecturally, the system was built using the Next.js framework on the frontend and Laravel on the backend. To optimize order management, the system also implements the Early Deadline First (EDF) algorithm that dynamically prioritizes the validation queue based on the nearest timeframe. Functional testing results using the Black Box Testing method indicate that all features in the system operate validly. Furthermore, an interface feasibility evaluation was carried out through the System Usability Scale (SUS) test, resulting in a final score of 77 with a Good predicate. Overall, this implementation system has proven effective in addressing double bookings and data monitoring issues, while also having a high level of usability, making it highly feasible for implementation to improve the operational efficiency of Hatta Sport Center.
