Abstract

UD TANI JAYA still relies on manual transaction recording, which may lead to recording errors, data duplication, and delays in procurement processes. This research aims to analyze and design a web-based transaction recording application for UD TANI JAYA, an agricultural retail business in Ngawi Regency. The system was developed to streamline fertilizer sales transactions, record purchases from suppliers, manage inventory, and generate automated transaction reports. The digitalization of transaction recording processes is necessary to overcome the limitations of manual systems, which often lead to data errors, information duplication, and delays in financial reporting. The system will be developed using the waterfall method as a structured framework consisting of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and operational processes, interviews with the business owner, and analysis of sales and purchase documents. PHP will be used as the programming language, MySQL will be used as the database and Laravel will serve as the framework. Black box testing will be used for functional testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) will be used to assess user approval. The test results show that all system functions are running according to user requirements. Based on the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) results, a user acceptance rate of 83,7% was obtained, which is considered very acceptable. These results show that the developed system is capable of assisting in the recording and management of transactions more effectively.
