Abstract
Learning Natural Sciences (IPA) in Elementary Schools has an important role in equipping students with an understanding of basic science concepts. Especially in the circulatory system, so this study aims: 1). To analyze the urgency of developing interactive 3D blood circulation board media in improving understanding of the concept of the circulatory system, 2). To test the validity of concrete media in minimizing student misconceptions related to the processes and functions of circulatory system organs. 3) How practical is the 3D blood circulation board media with dynamic simulation as a learning medium for the circulatory system. This type of research is Research and PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA KONKRET ‘PAPAN SIRKULASI DARAH 3D’ UNTUK MEMINIMALISASI MISKONSEPSI PADA MATERI PEREDARAN DARAH DI SEKOLAH DASAR 2 Development (R&D) with a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) which is only limited to the development stage. The research subjects include teachers, fifth grade students of MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan Surakarta, and expert validators. The object of the research is a 3D Blood Circulation Board learning media, and data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, as well as pre-tests and expert validation, data triangulation, and limited and extensive trials, while data analysis techniques include descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis for questionnaires with a Likert scale, and effectiveness analysis by comparing students' pre-test and post-test scores to determine the increase in understanding after using the media. The results of this study are 1) the urgency of developing a 3D blood circulation board media, namely that many students still experience misconceptions and limitations of concrete media and learning approaches that are less based on concrete activities. 2). The validity of this blood circulation board media is stated as "Very Valid" 83.3% from media experts and "Very Valid" 90% from material experts. 3) For the practicality test, "Very Practical" 84.7% of fifth grade science teachers. Thus, the 3D blood circulation board media is very suitable for use in science learning in elementary schools, and reduces students' misconceptions on the material of the circulatory system.
