Abstract

Instagram is a form of social media that is connected to the internet and can be accessed by the web. As technology develops and the internet increases, Instagram is often used as a business medium or service provider such as wedding organizers. One business actor who uses Instagram is @omahmantenweddingplanner who has 13,700 followers. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative which aims to explain the motives and satisfaction of the Instagram social network by focusing on the gap between motives and satisfaction on Instagram @omahmantenweddingplanner. Using the Palmgreen Uses & Gratification model theory. The data collection technique uses an online questionnaire whose respondents have been determined by the researcher. The data analysis technique uses a discrepancy test to measure the difference between motives and satisfaction.
