Abstract

Jaya Prana Building Supply Store currently faces challenges in inventory management that relies on manual recording methods, resulting in various obstacles such as inaccurate stock data, slow tracking processes, and the risk of human error. This study aims to design and build a web-based inventory management system to digitize and automate the store's operational processes. This system was developed using the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Development was carried out using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The result of this research is a functional web-based information system with two access rights, namely Admin and Store Staff. This system has key features such as incoming and outgoing goods data management, goods stock submission and approval flow, user management, and report printing. Functionality testing of the system was conducted using the Black Box Testing method, while the ease of use was measured using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The implementation of this system is expected to be a solution to improve the efficiency of the store's operational processes.
