Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven the growth of online donation platforms, but cases of fund misuse have undermined public trust, necessitating a more transparent and secure system. This research developed a donation-based crowdfunding platform with integrated blockchain technology and smart contracts to ensure permanent and unmodifiable transaction records. Implementation was carried out on the Polygon network with low transaction fees and high compatibility with the Ethereum ecosystem. The system also integrates the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code (QRIS) so that donors can donate without a crypto wallet. Development uses the Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach. Testing includes Unit Testing, Black Box Testing, and System Usability Scale (SUS). The research results are in the form of the Overgive web platform with donation features, blockchain-based transaction verification, fund distribution reports, and campaign management. All functions run as needed, and usability testing of 36 respondents resulted in a SUS score of 81.3 with an “Acceptable” category and an “Excellent” rating. The system is considered feasible to implement and has the potential to increase trust in digital donation platforms.
