Abstract

In the era of industrial digitalization, the effectiveness and efficiency of network systems are crucial, particularly in manufacturing sectors such as garment factories. This study aims to implement and evaluate a network monitoring system using Zabbix to oversee and ensure optimal network performance at PT GCRL (Smart Environmentally Friendly Garment). The implemented monitoring system provides real-time visualization, early detection of disruptions, and comprehensive network performance reporting. The research methodology involves literature review, system design, testing, and implementation evaluation. By leveraging Zabbix features such as automatic device detection and logic-based notifications, the system enhances the efficiency of network maintenance. Testing results show that the implementation of Zabbix at PT GCRL successfully increased responsiveness to disruptions by 30% and reduced downtime by 20%. This study significantly contributes to the company's utilization of network monitoring technology to support more effective and efficient operations. Besides that, this system can also be applied in other sectors that require intensive network monitoring.
