Abstract

This research is motivated by the prevalence of child sexual violence cases in Surakarta, requiring intensive legal protection. The study aims to examine the role of DP3AP2KB Surakarta in providing legal protection for child victims and identifying implementation obstacles. The method used is juridical-empirical with a sociological approach through interviews and document studies. Results show that DP3AP2KB provides preventive protection through public education and repressive protection via UPTD PPA, including psychological support, medical services (visum), and legal aid through cross-sector coordination. These efforts are implemented based on the Child Protection Act and the TPKS Law. Main obstacles include limited human resources and operational coordination challenges. In conclusion, DP3AP2KB's role is vital for restoring victim rights, but enhanced inter-agency synergy and personnel capacity are necessary to optimize the handling of child sexual violence in Surakarta
