Abstract

The process of selecting the formators of the Central Java IPM regional conference requires complex consideration of multiple criteria, but there is no recommendation system that can provide objective candidate rankings based on predetermined criteria. This study aims to develop a recommendation system for selecting formators using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method that can provide objective and transparent recommendations based on predetermined criteria. The SAW method was chosen because of its ability to handle multiple criteria decision-making with simple but accurate calculations, using seven criteria: organizational experience, leadership, communication, organizational knowledge, regional representation, time commitment, and networking with weights determined through expert judgment of the Central Java IPM Regional Conference administrators. This research produced a web-based recommendation system capable of objectively ranking candidate formators, improving the transparency and efficiency of the decision-making process, and can be adopted by similar organizations to improve the quality of the selection process for administrators.
