Abstract
In a company, employees are a key factor in the company's success. However, many companies still conduct performance evaluations manually using Excel or static forms, which requires a long processing time, is prone to errors, and is not integrated with the attendance or team productivity systems. Performance data is stored separately in various files and platforms that are not integrated, making it difficult for managers to comprehensively track employee progress. Delays in managerial decision-making often occur due to the absence of an automatic notification system and real-time data analysis. This study aims to develop an employee performance evaluation system based on Software as a Service (SaaS) using the Scrum methodology as a development framework, equipped with a real-time dashboard and Midtrans integration. This study uses the Scrum methodology as a system development framework with a complete implementation of the iterative sprint cycle, which includes sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and retrospective to ensure focused and consistent development. The developed system is a SaaS platform equipped with a real-time dashboard to monitor individual and team performance, Midtrans integration as a subscription payment system, and supporting features such as member management and dynamic roles, Key Performance Indicator (KPI)-based evaluation, attendance with selfie photos and Global Positioning System (GPS) validation, daily activity logging, sprint and standup management, and automatic reports in Portable Document Format (PDF) and Excel. The system was tested using Black-Box testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS), and the black-box testing results showed that the features functioned properly, while the SUS test results achieved an average of 81. These results show that this application is suitable for implementation by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and startups in Indonesia as an affordable and scalable digital solution for Human Resource (HR) management, while also contributing academically through the development of a performance evaluation system using the Scrum method with a real-time dashboard and Midtrans.
