Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) has driven digital transformation across various sectors, including village governance. However, many villages in Indonesia still face challenges in providing integrated information media, public transparency, and efficient administrative services, as seen in Ginuk Village. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Village Online Service Application using the Laravel framework and MySQL database to enhance service effectiveness, transparency, and community participation. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) with the Waterfall model, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The main features include village profile information, news and announcements, community complaint services, MSME information, APBDes transparency, village gallery, and administrative service requirements. System testing was conducted using Black-Box Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to evaluate functionality and usability. The results show that the application performs well according to user needs and is rated as “good” based on SUS results, indicating its ability to improve public service quality, strengthen transparency, and facilitate information access for Ginuk Village residents. Therefore, this application serves as an effective digital solution to support modern, transparent, and participatory village governance.
