Abstract

The rapid development of information technology requires business owners to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, including in the car rental business. Mulya Rent Car in Boyolali Regency still implements manual vehicle and financial data management, resulting in problems such as difficulty monitoring vehicle availability, potential service delays, and inefficient and error-prone financial records. This study aims to design and build a website-based car rental management application to help business owners manage data and finances in an integrated manner. The development method used is the waterfall method, which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The system was developed using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and run on a Windows-based computer or laptop with web browser support. The resulting website-based application hasfeatures for vehicle data management, rental transactions, payments, financial reports, and vehicle availability analysis. System testing using the Blackbox Testing method showed that all functions run as needed, while the System Usability Scale results were in the good category. Based on the research results, the website-based application built is able to improve the efficiency of data and financial management and support the smooth operation of the car rental business,
