Abstract

The manual complaint system through the sub-district office causes delays in responses from the wonokerso Village government. The impact of these delays can lead to a risk of declining public trust in the village government. This study aims to develop a public service complaint system based on Firebase Cloud Messaging. The development method uses an agile development approach that emphasizes iterative, collaborative, and adaptable principles with the stages of requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and review. This system utilizes Firebase Cloud Messaging to support realtime notifications when new complaints are received and status updates. The system has registration and login features, a complaint form, live status tracking, complaint history, a management dashboard for admins, and new report notifications. The results of the study indicate that the developed public service complaint system is able to support a more structured management of complaints and public services for the village government. Black-box testing consisted of 34 test items with successful results and System Usability Scale (SUS) testing with an average of 80.06 in the acceptable category.
