Abstract

In the industrial world, the role of heavy equipment is very important to complete work faster and more efficiently. The function of heavy equipment includes tasks such as lifting, digging, moving materials, and forming physical structures. A wheel loader is a heavy equipment with rubber wheels that has a bucket with the function of moving material into a dump truck or to another place by loading and carrying. One of the systems that supports the performance of the wheel loader is the tilt cylinder. The Tilt Cylinder is one of the Wheel Loader components that functions to move the bucket to carry out movements to accommodate and dispose of material, the component is driven by a hydraulic system. When conducting Field Work Practices at PT. OSCAR OMEGA found a problem in one of the components of the JGM757H Wheel Loader unit where the performance of the Tilt Cylinder was less than optimal or low power occurred when the seal hardened. Therefore, I am interested in taking the title "Damage Analysis and Repair of Tilt Hydraulic Components on the JGM757H Wheel Loader Unit". The author will explain the causes of damage and make repairs and calculation planning for the Hydraulic Tilt Cylinder on the JGM757H Wheel Loader.
