Abstract
The implementation of Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) aims to improve organizational performance through information technology, yet user acceptance remains suboptimal. Hospital performance is assumed to influence HMIS acceptance. This study analyzes the effect of hospital performance on HMIS acceptance using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This quantitative survey involved healthcare professionals and administrative staff using HMIS at hospitals owned by the Jamaah Haji Klaten Foundation. Data were collected via online questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that hospital performance significantly affects perceived usefulness but does not significantly affect perceived ease of use. Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use significantly influence behavioral intention to use HMIS, which in turn affects actual system use. Hospital performance also has a direct significant effect on behavioral intention. It can be concluded that hospital performance plays an important organizational role in supporting HMIS acceptance through the TAM framework.
