Abstract

This study is motivated by a real dispute involving Toko Kacang Ijo Tiga Dara, which experienced a debt conflict due to a sales transaction conducted without a written agreement highlighting the vulnerable legal position of micro-business actors. The purpose of this research is to analyze the form of legal protection available and explore dispute resolution strategies under the Indonesian legal framework. Using a normative juridical method, the study examines statutory regulations, legal doctrines, and a factual case study. The findings reveal that while legal protections do exist, they are difficult to enforce without valid written evidence. Therefore, documenting transactions becomes essential for ensuring legal certainty and fairness for business owners.
