Abstract
Gardening is an activity that is often carried out by people as a primary activity or secondary activity after completing their primary activities. In the process of caring for and monitoring the garden, someone must always visit the garden directly. When they are unable to go to the garden, this can cause less than optimal plant growth. Therefore, the author created a smart garden tool based on the internet of things (IOT). So that it makes it easier to care for and monitor the garden through the garden owner's smartphone. This tool is operated using several components such as the ESP32 microcontroller as a system that regulates this tool. The soil moisture sensor is used to measure soil moisture. The Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) sensor is used to measure particles or parts per million (PPM) in water where the water will later be mixed with fertilizer to water the plants so that the plants are well nourished. This tool uses two pumps, the first to water the plants when it gets a trigger from the soil moisture sensor which reads that the soil is dry, the pump will turn on and the second to fill the water tank when the HCSR-04 sensor fills the tank automatically. The on and off relay switch is useful for turning on and off the components used in this tool. Turn on the lights at night using your smartphone via the Telegram app. This device uses a renewable energy source, namely a solar power plant.
