Abstract
Madiun Regency is an agricultural region in East Java with significant potential in agriculture, local culture, and regional culinary specialties. However, few public spaces, especially restaurants, are able to accommodate this potential in a sustainable and contextual environment. The concept of a modern restaurant today serves not only as a place to eat, but also as a space for education, social interaction, and representation of local identity through an architectural approach and more responsible consumption patterns. The planning of the Eco-Farm Resto aims to improve the quality of a healthy and educational public dining space, strengthen local food security, and support the community's economy through the implementation of the farm-to-table concept. The design method uses a qualitative approach with stages such as literature studies, field observations, site analysis, theme and concept determination, and schematic design development. The design parameters refer to a combination of Green Architecture and Vernacular Architecture principles that align with Madiun's tropical climate and culture. The result of this process is a sustainable restaurant design that integrates with a food garden, utilizes local materials, and maximizes natural ventilation and lighting. Eco-Farm Resto is envisioned as a culinary space that is not only functional and visually appealing, but also strengthens the connection between people, nature, and the local culture of Madiun Regency.
