Abstract
Human resources (HR) play a vital role in improving the performance and competitiveness of MSMEs. This study aims to determine the priority of HR competency variables at Memen Furniture MSME using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires with the owner and employees. The analysis shows that skills are the top criterion, followed by knowledge, initiative and creativity, work commitment, and work ethics. The main alternative priority is developing work guidelines and SOPs (0.49958), followed by technical training (0.16168), initiative and creativity development programs (0.15642), establishing regulations and routine evaluations (0.09596), and reward and punishment systems (0.08636). These findings indicate that SOP implementation is the most effective strategy to improve HR competencies through structured, disciplined, and sustainable work systems.
