Abstract
Era 4.0 has a real impact on the world of education. Teacher empowerment in the 4.0 era is urgent to be implemented so that teachers can integrate digital technology in learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the empowerment of teachers from institutions in the 4.0 era at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Blimbing Sukoharjo and to describe the empowerment of teachers from themselves in the 4.0 era at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Blimbing Sukoharjo This research uses a qualitative approach with an ethnographic design. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, documentation. Data validity through triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis was done interactively through the stages of reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The results show that madrasahs have empowered through technology training, curriculum implementation assistance, and the provision of digital facilities that support 21st century learning, while the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Majelis Dikdasmen and PNF provide technology training. This shows that there is institutional awareness to systematically encourage digital transformation. Empowerment of teachers in the 4.0 era from within includes awareness to continue learning, a spirit of innovation, professional responsibility for the times, the ability to adapt to new technology, and the spirit of creating creative and meaningful learning This research recommends that madrasah heads should continue to be active in the development of digital technology in madrasah management. Teachers are expected to continue to improve their professional competence, especially in mastering learning technology that is relevant to the needs of digital generation learners. Students are expected to take advantage of learning opportunities that have been facilitated through teacher empowerment era 4.0 with a proactive and responsible attitude.
