Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the potential of coastal tourism in Bandengan Village based on factors such as tourist attraction, facilities, accessibility, and community participation, as well as to formulate development strategies using SWOT analysis. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and secondary sources from related institutions. The analysis was conducted using a simple scoring method on internal aspects (tourist attraction, institutions, supporting facilities) and external aspects (location, accessibility, promotion, management), which were then mapped into SWOT analysis (IFAS–EFAS). The results showed that the internal potential of Bandengan Beach and Prawean Beach is categorized as good, while Marina Beach and Kampung Prau Beach are categorized as moderate. From the external aspect, Bandengan Beach is in a very good category, Prawean is high, Marina is moderate, and Kampung Prau is fairly good. The SWOT analysis produced coordinates X = 0.48 and Y = 0.69, placing the position of coastal tourism in Bandengan Village in Quadrant I (Stable Growth). This indicates that tourism development strategies should be carried out gradually according to the conditions of each beach.
