Abstract

Education is an effort to improve the quality of human life with the aim of improving social, moral, cultural, and religious values. Technology is used as a means to assist the learning process. In today's digital age, technology has become an important part of improving the quality and ease of obtaining education. Digital advancements have also had a significant impact on contemporary learning, which emphasizes critical and creative thinking skills. Currently, SMA Al Yaqin Rembang still uses manual methods to disseminate information, such as school announcements or notification letters to students and parents. This study aims to develop a web-based information system tailored to the characteristics and needs of SMA Al Yaqin Rembang. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Waterfall development model, the study includes stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Data was collected through literature reviews, observations, interviews, and questionnaires using qualitative analysis methods to assess validity, feasibility, and effectiveness in the research. The research results show that the developed website successfully provides a digital platform that facilitates the delivery of information more quickly, centrally, and easily accessible by students, teachers, parents, and other school-related parties. It is hoped that this website can become a more efficient and professional means of communication and information, as well as enhance the institution's image in the eyes of the community.
