Abstract
The progress of a nation is often juxtaposed with the role of its youth. Youth as the successor of the nation play an important role in the aaspects of agent of change, agent of development, and agent of modernisations. Cooperation is needed in every region to support the role of youth both in academic and non-academic fields. There needs to be a space for expression to accommodate youth activities that capable to present a positive ecosystem for the growth and development of the young generation, especially in Kendal Regency under the auspices of the youth center. Through the kinetic architecture design strategy in the youth center design that is able to provide attractive visuals and in harmony with the concept of sustainability, the younger generation is easier to absorb learning with visual learning system. This is because of visual, auditory, and semantic-based brain performance. The output resulting from this design is in the form of (1) Youth center design that accomodates youth activities in Kendal Regency and (2) Implementation of kinetic architecture in the design of youth center in Kendal Regency.
