Abstract
This study aims to identify the form of tourism development in Rawa Jombor and analyze its impact on the socio-economic conditions of the surrounding community. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a field study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews with 30 respondents including local residents, traders, fishermen, and tourism actors, as well as documentation. The results show that tourism development has been carried out through area revitalization, construction of tourist facilities, and relocation of floating food stalls to land. Economically, the majority of respondents experienced an increase in income, especially those involved in tourism-related businesses. Socially, there has been a positive change, such as increased community participation, particularly among youth. However, negative impacts were also found, such as environmental pollution and the lack of optimal government support. SWOT analysis results indicate that tourism in Rawa Jombor holds significant potential if managed sustainably and inclusively, supported by capacity building and strengthened community-based institutions.
