Abstract
The Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Klaten Islamic Boarding School is a formal boarding school-based educational institution under the auspices of Muhammadiyah that combines the Islamic boarding school curriculum and the Ministry of Religious Affairs curriculum based on the 2013 Curriculum. This study aims to examine the development of the 3T flagship program (Tahfidz, Tafhim, and Taf’il Al-Qur’an) at MBS Klaten. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that: (1) The Tahfidz program is implemented using scheduled talaqqi, muroja’ah, sima’an, and tahsin methods, aimed at memorizing students according to their level; (2) The Tafhim learning program includes tafsir, hadith, nahwu, sharaf, ushul fiqh, and ulumul Qur’an books with halaqah and discussion methods; (3) The Taf’il program encourages students to practice the values of the Qur’an through worship practices, da’wah, and social activities. This third program is implemented systematically and in an integrated manner, supported by a conducive Islamic boarding school environment, competent teaching staff, and regular evaluations. Supporting factors include institutional commitment, competent human resources, adequate skills, and an integrated curriculum. Inhibiting factors include the students' varying initial abilities, tight time management, and limited, increasingly intensive mentoring. The 3T program has proven effective in developing students who memorize, understand, and practice the Quran in their daily lives.
