Abstract

The demand for handyman services that are both fast and skill-specific continues to rise. However, the search for such services is still often conducted manually, leading to inefficiency. The main issue identified is the absence of a digital system that can systematically connect users with handymen based on their expertise and location. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system that facilitates online handyman service booking, equipped with features for selecting workers by area and skill. The system is built for three types of users: admin, handyman, and customer. System testing was carried out using the black-box method to ensure all functions operate as expected, and usability was evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) to assess user comfort. The results show that the system performs well across all functional tests and achieved a SUS score of 86, indicating a high level of usability and positive user acceptance.
