Abstract
Solar Power Plants (PLTS) are a renewable energy solution that is increasingly in demand to meet electricity needs, especially in residential buildings. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of panel orientation, climate conditions, and solar radiation intensity on the efficiency of solar panel energy output. This study uses a quantitative simulation-based approach to obtain system performance data, compare it with real data, and evaluate the performance of the 1,2 kWp on-grid PLTS system installed in the Klaseman, Gatak, Sukoharjo area. The simulation was carried out using PVsyst software, with total energy production from February to May of 253,29 kWh, while the real data recorded was 240,98 kWh, with a difference of around 5%. This difference shows a difference between the simulation results and the reality in the field, which can be caused by various environmental and technical factors such as shading and weather effects.
