Abstract

Hospital (RS) is a place that provides health services with various types of health complaints properly and with superior competence in their fields. This characteristic is supported by the development of scientific knowledge about health, about technology and the socio-economic life of the community in order to improve the quality of health better. RSUI YAKSSI Gemolong, is a hospital that stands in the Gemolong area with the address Kabayanan II, Kragilan, Kec. Gemolong, Kab. Sragen, Central Java which is often known as RSU Islam YAKSSI Gemolong with the classification of Class D Hospital with a land area of 5,436 square meters and a building area of 5,061.11 square meters. The development of YAKSSI Gemolong Hospital, in an effort to improve the quality of services from Class D to Class C, requires re-planning or re-design of the YAKSSI Gemolong Hospital building. In planning, a building design concept is needed to get a building that suits the needs, functions, and reflects the introduction to the building in accordance with the Vision and Mission carried out by the Hospital. The architectural concept presented is the concept of Islamic contemporary architecture, which is a design approach that combines modern principles with Islamic values. Its characteristics include the use of dynamic forms, sturdy structures, sleek materials, and open spaces (Wibinaya, 2021). By applying this approach, the RSU Islam YAKSSI Gemolong hospital can design a building architecture that can facilitate the infrastructure of building users properly. In the development, it is also necessary to analyze the structural geography of the YAKSSI Islamic Hospital environment with the aim that the building to be realized can help, facilitate and support the patient's healing process to the maximum.
