Abstract

In Indonesia, women's participation in the political process is still very low. When faced with this situation, the growth of women's political existence is increasingly emphasized. As a policy holder, the government has issued a number of laws to encourage women's candidacy for positions in the DPR, DPD, and Provincial/Regional/City DPRD. Women's representation as people's representatives has recently become a significant topic of debate in the political world, with the aim of increasing women's visibility in politics, their ability to make decisions, and their participation in making regional regulations that protect women's rights and responsibilities, which are still considered uncommunicated. Therefore, it is very interesting to ask questions about the level of women's capabilities and expand responsive policies to women's empowerment and women's privileges.
