Abstract

Health is an important aspect of regional development because it is directly related to the quality of life of the community. Tangerang City as a metropolitan area with rapid population growth faces challenges in equitable distribution of health facilities, especially type C public hospitals. Neglasari Sub-district is an area that needs additional health service facilities due to the uneven distribution of hospitals. The design of the Type C General Hospital in this area is carried out to answer these needs, while integrating the Green hospital approach to create sustainable and environmentally friendly facilities. The Green hospital concept is applied through Greenship principles such as energy efficiency, waste management, optimization of natural lighting and ventilation, and the use of environmentally friendly materials. This approach aims to reduce environmental impact while supporting the patient's healing process and the comfort of medical personnel. The design method includes literature study, site analysis, spatial and ecological approaches, and the application of sustainable design principles. The design results are expected to answer the health service needs of Tangerang City and become an inspiring model for the development of similar hospitals that care about the environment and public health.
