Abstract

The Integrated Islamic Boarding School (PPIT), SMPIT, and SMAIT Al Huda Wonogiri are educational complexes that combine boarding school and full-day school systems. With the increasing number of students and changes in educational systems, several issues have emerged regarding spatial planning, circulation, utilities, and the lack of green open spaces. These conditions necessitate the development of an integrated and sustainable redesign. The purpose of this redesign is to create a safe, comfortable, and standard-compliant learning environment while maintaining Islamic values. The ecological architecture approach is applied to ensure a balance between buildings and the natural environment. Principles such as energy efficiency, water management, natural ventilation, and daylighting are central to the redesign of existing facilities. This report uses methods including literature review, interviews with school stakeholders, and site surveys. The collected data is qualitatively analyzed to formulate applicable conceptual solutions. The outcome of this design is expected to serve as a model for the development of Islamic educational environments that are responsive to both environmental and social challenges, and that foster the growth of students who are ethical, independent, and ecologically conscious
