Abstract
The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) plays an important role in the Indonesian criminal justice system, especially in protecting the rights of witnesses and victims, including children. Although LPSK has made efforts to protect child victims of sexual abuse, there are still significant gaps in the implementation of comprehensive legal protection. Islamic law also offers meaningful protection for child victims, with a focus on prevention, rehabilitation, and mental recovery. Therefore, LPSK is recommended to increase its socialization efforts to inform the public about available services and strengthen cooperation with related institutions to expedite case handling. Thus, it is hoped that the protection of child victims of sexual abuse can be more effective and sustainable.
