Abstract
Criminal acts are acts prohibited by law, prohibitions acompanied by sanctios in the form of cetain punishments for anyone who violate the prohibiton. Ciu or other names and/or similar ones are liquids with an ethanol conten of less than 70% (seventy percen) which are misuse as alcoholic beverages, produce in the region, do not have a distibution permit and are known by the public. With this study, the aim is to provid an expanation of the criminal liability of ciu bekonang producers based on Sukoharjo Regency Regulation Number 7 of 2012, using a sociological approach, case approach, and analytical approach, with the type of research using research obtained through direct interviews at the Sukoharjo Regency Civil Service Police Unit and the ciu production site in bekonang, which is source from pimary and secondary legal data, using data colection methods through literatur studies. The results of the study indicate that criminal liability for ciu bekonang producers is in accordance with Sukoharjo Regency Regulation Number 7 of 2012 concernig Supervision, Control of Distribution, and Sales of Alcoholic Beverages.
