Abstract

In today's increasingly advanced technological era, many faith crises occur especially in humans from adolescence to adulthood, this age change journey poses many problems and obstacles that are different from their age when they were still students in school to becoming students. There is a lot of bad news heard from the current actions of students. The solution to behavioral problems from the impact of the crisis of faith on students can be alleviated through the internalization of monotheism. This study aims to describe the method of the Baitul Arqam program in internalizing monotheistic values and identifying the impact of internalizing monotheism and students from the Baitul Arqam program. This type of research is qualitative descriptive with a phenomenological approach. Meanwhile, data collection in this study uses interviews, documentation, and observations. The data validity test uses triangulation of methods and sources. Data analysis consists of data collection, data reduction, and data presentation. The results of the study show that the Baitul Arqam program is implemented through three stages, namely value transformation, value transactions, and trans-internalization. Students show a positive response by increasing participation, critical thinking skills, and strengthening Islamic values in daily life. Meanwhile, the impact of this program can be seen in six main aspects, including a deep understanding of monotheism, the integration of knowledge and faith, behavior change, spiritual closeness to Allah, consistency in worship practices, and willingness to dialogue and learning. Overall, Baitul Arqam plays an important role in shaping the personality of students who have faith, morals, and are in harmony with Islamic values.
