Abstract

Background: Nurse performance is an important factor in improving the quality of health services in a hospital. Various factors such as income, workload, and work relationships can affect nurses' job satisfaction and performance. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationships of allowance income, workload, and work relationships on nurse performance in a hospital. Method: This study applied a quantitative design with a descriptive correlational approach to analyze the relationship between allowance income, workload, and work relationship on nurse performance in a hospital. A total of 120 nurses were involved in this study which used total sampling as a sample selection method. Data analysis used linear multiple regression analysis. Results: The study found that the allowance income had a positive and significant correlation with nurse performance (r = 0.605, p < 0.01 and r = 0.678, p < 0.01). On the other hand, , workload had a significant negative correlation with nurse performance (r = -0.458, p < 0.01), which means that the higher the workload, the lower the nurse's performance. Conclusion: Allowance income was the most close relation to the performance of nurses' work among other factors.
